Tracing industrial history through the archives

The Swiss Social Archives combine a library, a historical archive and up-to-date documentation. The archives contain records relating to all relevant social issues, with a focus on Swiss politics and society from the 19th century to the present day.

In addition to research literature, brochures, leaflets and civil society magazines are also available at the Social Archives. Over 900 corporate archives and estates represent a rich primary source, while audiovisual documents offer an additional perspective on historical topics.
